RSS Feeds

We have now implemented an RSS newsfeed that links to the latest jobs posted on the site. The feed is updated every hour and can display the 20 latest jobs, or the 20 latest jobs with your selected keywords either in the job title or in the job description.

To use the feed, enter http://www.ukit-careers.co.uk/JOBS_RSS into your browser and hit return. If you are using Firefox you should then see a list of ways to view the feed - we would recommend Google feed reader.

(if you don't have an account on Google it's worth setting one up - they're useful for all sorts of things)

Google feed reader will allow you to track a number of different RSS feeds automatically, giving you another means of keeping track of available vacancies in addition to the sites automatic job matching / email system.

To filter the list of jobs the RSS module returns, simply append a "?" followed by "keywords=" followed by the keyword to filter the feed on. So for example, to generate a feed containing just jobs with "linux" in the title or job description, try using http://www.ukit-careers.co.uk/JOBS_RSS?keywords=linux.
